Fashion Week in Paris sports a variety of Wool Caps
India forecasted the Wool cap trend in Fashion
LUDHIANA: As the season changes, the trends also change. This winter season, woolen head gears are in vogue unlike leather or cotton caps. TOI talks to city residents, who are following this trend and are keen on keeping themselves updated on the latest fashion styles.
Navneet Singh of Model Town Extension says, "I eagerly wait for winters as I love to wear woolen caps. Such caps are in fashion this winter. Earlier, old fashioned woolen caps of poor quality were worn by children or elderly. But now there are branded and colorful caps available in the market. They can now be worn anywhere, including offices. Even we Sikhs can wear them instead of turbans."
Bidisha, another city resident, says, "Woolen caps have made a huge in trend this year and I love following new fashion styles. The best thing about these woolen caps is that they are smart and trendy. They are also available in fur and one can wear them anywhere - from college to semi-formal events."
Razia Arora, a college student from PAU, says, "Earlier woolen caps were very dull and in boring colors like brown or black, but now there are so many options. They are available in different colors and varieties. These caps are in huge demand this season and the best thing is these are available in local brands as well as international brands so there is more variety."
